October is nearly here!

We've been very busy in Elm class this week. Here are a few comments about what we've been up to.

'Today in Elm class we listened and sang the coat of many colours song from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. It was my favourite song out of all the ones we listened to!'

'In maths this week we've been learning about angles. It was fun!'

'This week we've been learning about vowels, antonyms and synonyms. We've also been playing lots of literacy games.'

'This week in Elm class we did a LOT of grammar games. I really enjoyed it. Then we had forfeits which were really funny! I enjoyed this week :-)'

'This week we had some homework which was hard. I have still done it though!'

'We have been doing lots of map work including making maps of the United Kingdom, and finding Egypt on a map of Africa. It was so fun!'

'This week we did just dance for fifteen minutes each day. It is fun. We did a story map about Flat Stanley. Miss Drury reads us a book every night called 'There's a boy in the girls bathroom.'

'This week went super fast! But it was fun! It was so funny when we played synonym and antonym games. Also it was really funny but embarrassing for the forfeit people who had to play Mallets Mallet (without a real mallet, of course!!)'

Also this week the class bear, Bearamy, went on a trip to the seaside. It was his first big trip of the year, as he'd only been to stay at people's houses up until now. I think he had a lovely time, and found it very relaxing after being back at school. What do you think??

All dressed and ready to go out!

'Decisions, decisions! What shall I have for dinner?'

What a lovely evening for a trip to the seaside!

Ice cream for afters anyone?

The best way to travel? Why a bear bag of course!!

A little tree climbing, after all that's what bears are good at!

A lovely view!

A little lie down on the sand after all that food and walking! What a busy day.

We are really lucky to live where we do.

Bearemy certainly enjoyed his trip to Southend. I wonder where he'll go on his next big adventure?
